An institution and a draw since 1941, this establishment is one of the city's last men's club steak houses. All the waiters are male, and the maitre d' is on a first-name basis with regulars. Most people would have been intimidated to open an establishment in the backyard of such famous steak houses, but not Ruth. This restaurant, with its men's club atmosphere, holds its own and serves perfectly seasoned steaks sizzling on platters heated to 450 degrees, mouthwatering sides, and fantastic.
